Former employee New Zealand Centre for Sustainable Cities; worked on the Housing, Heating and Health Study and the evaluation of Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart.
Nick Preval has an environmental studies background. His PhD thesis, Masters thesis and work with He Kainga Oranga is primarily focused on quantifying the costs and benefits resulting from insulation and heating related interventions.
Nick’s PhD thesis is entitled “Econometric and Statistical Analysis of Large Scale Public Health Interventions” and focuses on a detailed analysis of health related data collected as part of an MED commissioned evaluation of the Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart programme.
